Kathy and
Theatric competed in the 100-mile FEI/CEI***
Endurance event held on July 19, 2007, in
conjunction with the Nation's Cup Reining event and
AHA Region 18 Arabian and part-Arabian Reining
Championships, as well as a 3-day Pioneer endurance
ride (50 miles each day, same horse and rider for 3
days) and competitive trail championships. A lot
going on that week at Y Not Farms and Equestrian
Center, Meaford, Ontario.

Kathy and Theatric crossed
the finish line at 7:34 pm, 11 minutes ahead of the
second place horse. Their total ride time (on-course
time) as 10 hours, 34 minutes.
In addition, based on Theatric's performance this
year at FEI/CEI *** (100-mile rides) Kathy and
Theatric have been issued an invitation from HRH
Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin, Sultan of Terengganu
Malaysia to compete in the Sultan's Cup Terengganu
Endurance Challenge, which will be held November 10,
2007 at the Terengganu International Endurance Park,
Terengganu, Malaysia. Three U.S. riders have been
invited to participate in this World endurance
event, the precursor to the 2008
World Endurance Championships. Kathy and Theatric,
along with a rider from Virginia and one from
California, will travel to Malaysia in early
October. Kathy's husband, Tom Hutchinson, will be
joining them in late October (as groom and crew).
