The Arabian
Horse Association Inc, of Maine would like to ask for
your help. We would like to acknowledge AHAME members
who strive to improve the Arabian/Half-Arabian breed.
These are members who are great representatives to our
breed, club and the equine world. They should excel at
kindness, sportsmanship and generosity. They may trail
ride, compete at all levels in the show ring, endurance,
or be a recreational Arabian owner, etc.
We will have two (2) awards, an adult member of the year
and a youth member of the year (18 years & under). The
person you are listing MUST be an AHAME member. If you
are uncertain if they are a member, please contact the
Membership Chairperson listed below. It would be very
beneficial for us to have written reasons for your
choice and the winning member will greatly appreciate
your kind words. The member in each category with the
majority vote will be the 2009 member of the year. Each
award will be awarded at the Year End Awards banquet
held in 2010.
